Humane associations are always looking for donations as they are in constant need for their furry friends trying to find a fur-ever home. You can help with these fun ways to raise money for your local humane association. From friends and family celebrations to huge community events, every little bit helps!

1. Host a Dog Party

Diesel’s Mom, Iris, has been planning dog birthday parties for him his whole life. Each of these events is hosted to raise money for their local animal rescue. This year, they used our Chevron Boy Bruffday party theme to style this fantastic event. 2. Organize a Car Wash/Dog Wash

If you have a local business who is willing to offer outdoor space – or better yet, at the shelter parking lot to bring even more awareness – You and some friends can offer up your services to clean pups and trucks! Just be sure to promote your event on social media early enough so you get the word out about your event.

3. Holiday Ornaments

During the holidays, you can sell handmade ornaments at your local pet stores or other animal-friendly shops. Think about coffee shops that cater to dogs, local retailers who love pups and cruelty-free cosmetic or beauty shops who care about animals.

4. Host a Dog-Friendly Run-Walk

Run/walk events are super popular for everyone but a lot don’t allow for dogs to also attend. Host a pooch-friendly event through a park or at a hiking trail so everyone can participate. With the right promotion and a reasonable entry fee, you are sure to get a good turn-out AND have a nice donation to your local rescue.
