Mom said she is getting me the same dog cake we had at Thor’s puppy shower – I am super-excited she decided to make a dog party cake especially for me but, between you and I, it concerned me that it would take so much time she would forget about our nightly snuggles in the chair. Thor said his Mom made his bone-shaped cake so fast, he didn’t even get a chance to beg to lick the bowl!

Puppy Cakes come in 2 flavors. Mom decided to get the Peanut Butter flavored dog cake because it it wheat-free and I chew my paws when I eat wheat.

Each Puppy Cake includes a frosting packet and enough mix to fill our bone-shaped pan.

Puppy Party Cake Mix #PuppyShower #DogBirthdayParty #PuppyPawtyTo make a Puppy Cake, you will need:
1 box of cake mix in your pups favorite flavor
1 egg
2/3 cup of water
2 tbsp. of vegetable oil

To make the yogurt frosting, you will need:
1 frosting packet (included)
2 tbsp. of water

If using an oven, preheat to 350 degrees.
Mix the Puppy Cake ingredients together in a medium bowl (using a fork works great).
Pour the batter into your bone-shaped pan and bake for 20-24 minutes.

If you choose to microwave your Puppy Cake, choose a microwave-safe pan as the metal of the bone-shaped cake pan will not work in a microwave.

When the Puppy Cake cools, mix the frosting packed with 2 tablespoons of water and frost.
