Washcloth cupcakes are a fun way to treat your guests to an indulgently soft washcloth, wrapped up and packaged to coordinate with the baby shower theme.

Make your washcloth cupcake in 3 easy steps:

  1. Place your washcloth at an angle in front of you (So it looks like a diamond) and fold the corner closest to you into the center. Continue to loosely roll the washcloth to the other corner, creating a flat roll.
  2. Now roll the roll. Start at one corner of the rolled washcloth and roll toward the other corner, creating a cinnamon bun shape and making a rose-like center.
  3. Once you have it all rolled up, hold it all together with a rubber band and add your themed cupcake wrapper.

This easy do-it-yourself baby shower favor also works great with a pair of cozy socks. Simply start at the toe and roll toward the top band of the sock. The heal with create the rose-like center while the fluff of the sock makes fun “frosting.”

Top off your washcloth cupcake or sock cupcake with a personalized cupcake topper for a special baby shower favor your guests will love.

Now, on to the easy DIY bath salt party favors.

  1. Find the perfect fillable container for your guests. This Hostess Hero use Empty Glass Canister Jars but any adorable container can be personalized with a themed sticker label or die-cut tag.
  2. Make your bath salt: Add Epsom Salt to a large bowl. Then add 3 drops of your favorite essential oil per cup of salt and 1 teaspoon of baking soda per cup of salt. Stir with a wooden spoon, and when you think you are done, stir some more! (Click here if you would like the recipe in more detail)
  3. Pour into your personalized containers and you will certainly impress all your guests.

Finish off your DIY baby shower favors with a pretty, coordinated ribbon and you will be an instant Hostess Hero.
