My husbands family gives nicknames to everyone so after our son was born, everyone gradually got their new "name." We call my dad "Grandpa Grizzly" and my husband's mom "Grandma with the Horses." One great grandma is "Chicken Grandma" and another great grandma is "Grandma Pete." This idea will certainly introduce everyone to what our son knows them by and also give the opportunity for telling the fun stories about how they got their name! What a great idea!
