Did you know that SimplyWeddingStuff.com has put together an amazing resource especially for bridal showers? They call it the Bridal Shower Checklist. And it has everything. Plus, it answers the most common bridal-shower-planning questions.

If you’re wondering who should plan the bridal shower or when to have the bridal shower, you should definitely head on over to SimplyWeddingStuff.com’s Bridal Shower Checklist. While I’ve attended my fair share of bridal showers and planned a ridiculous number of weddings, I learned a thing or two by reading through the Bridal Shower Checklist’s details.

More specifically, I learned about the timing of a bridal shower. If guests are from out of town, then the invitations should be sent more than two months in advance. If the guests are local, then four to six weeks is preferred.  Guests should RSVP three to four weeks in advance of the bridal shower to give the hostesses enough time to pull all the fabulous details together. Needless to say, this will be helpful information down the road as more and more of my friends are engaged!

6. Keep it as simple as possible. The easier the request, the more likely it is you’ll get a better deal on it.
